Dogs are famous for their great love and loyalty towards human beings. They make very strong and long-lasting bonds with us and are known for their steadfast loyalty. This is the reason they hold a special place in the hearts of people all over the world. With time, their bond with us becomes even stronger and deeper. Whether they comfort and reassure us in times of distress or simply bring joy and delight into our daily lives, dogs are indeed a very special and treasured part of our lives.
When you bring a dog into your home and make it a part of your family, any misfortune that befalls the dog will inevitably bring you sorrow as well. This was the case for Carlos Fresco, who shared a deep and meaningful bond with his 10-year-old dog, Monty. Carlos cherished Monty as both a companion and a beloved family member. Monty was diagnosed with leukemia and underwent chemotherapy treatment, but sadly, the leukemia came back and had a significant impact on his overall health.
Fresco realized that his beloved companion Monty was nearing the end of his life and was enduring significant pain. Being someone who cared deeply for Monty and loved him unconditionally, Fresco was determined to ensure that Monty’s final days were filled with happiness and comfort.

He chose to take Monty to their favorite spots and spend time playing with him. Fresco placed Monty in a wheelbarrow and carefully pushed him to all the familiar places they used to visit. Monty sat calmly and comfortably in the wheelbarrow during their journey.

Watching Fresco take Monty to the places where they had created joyful memories was deeply moving. They visited mountain tops, went on hikes, and explored other scenic spots, where numerous hikers and strangers joined them to offer Monty companionship. It was evident that Monty felt a great deal of happiness during these trips.

Monty enjoyed going on hikes, and his favorite trail led to a mountain top in Wales. Fresco explained that this was his way of paying tribute to Monty, who had a joyful spirit and brought happiness to everyone around him.
Monty passed away on June 21st, 2021, leaving many people deeply saddened by his loss. Fresco continues to cherish the fond memories he shared with Monty and feels thankful for their special bond. We hope Monty rest in peace.
